This boy has been through a lot; originally found by a Good Samaritan sitting at a freeway exit ramp, he spent nearly a year in foster care before finding himself back at the shelter through no fault of his own. After months on the adoption floor, Pongo was adopted, but returned within a week. He deteriorated in the shelter, and was at risk of being euthanized at any moment when he came to SacRDR. Pongo can take a bit to warm up to new people, but when given a little time and space to decide a new human is safe, his sweet, goofy personality comes through! Pongo is currently receiving treatment for sensitive skin and urinary issues, but will be ready for a forever home soon!
