Meet Sasha!

Sasha came to SacRDR from Stanislaus County Animal Shelter, where she was completely shut down. After a few months of patience and love in her foster home, she is finally beginning to come out of her shell!

Sasha is still a little slow to warm up to new people, and she tends to prefer women over men, but she’s incredibly sweet, and once she’s comfortable she’s the biggest goofball! Her favorite morning routine now includes zoomies through the rooms, backyard, and up and down the driveway of her foster home. Sasha is great with other dogs – her current foster family includes 5 other small to medium senior dogs, and she loves them all.

The adoption process for Sasha will be at a slower pace than normal to ensure that she’s comfortable and continues to make progress – she deserves that extra time to get to know and feel safe with her future forever family!
