Meet Lola!
Sweet Lola and her five 4-day-old puppies were intercepted before they could be surrendered to Stanislaus County Animal Control. Lola spent the first two years of her life in a trailer park with her first family, and had 3 litters of puppies before the park landlord evicted her family. As plans were being made to find a foster for Lola and pups, the landlord ran and out of patience and threatened to kill the dogs if they weren’t moved off the property immediately. With time all but run out, an amazing foster home stepped up to the plate, and Lola and her babies were rushed out of danger.
Since coming into foster, Lola has proven herself to be a complete sweetheart! She takes a few moments to grow accustomed to new people, but once she’s comfortable her true personality comes out, and she’s a sweet, patient goof. She loves her foster family (especially foster dad and the kids!) and did an amazing job taking care of her five chunky pups. Since weaning her puppies this past Autumn, she’s really come into her own – she’s a loving, playful, goofy girl!
